Vintage is my first love. I spent many sunny weekends of my childhood scouring shops and yard sales searching for treasures with my favorite aunt - so it’s fitting that I love Treasury. The store is lovely, filled with thoughtful arrangements, inviting seating areas and beautiful flowers. It's the kind of little shop I'd like to spend my afternoons in, drinking tea, chatting with storeowners Cathy and Katerina. They, much like I did, collect unique vintage items from estate sales and bazaars around the country and bring them here. A thoughtful collection of vintage - adorable little jumpers, romantic lace dresses, colorful prints, unique eyewear and hats. You can also find several amazing designer pieces – my favorite finds were a silk Lanvin dress and a Chanel belt.
They also feature jewelry lines by independent designers and have recently created their own - LITHICS, a collection of architectural rings cast in silver from salvaged molds and hand-finished in New York. They saved the vintage molds from destruction and created the perfect combination of vintage and modern – my favorite is Androcles, its strange jaw-like shape reminds me of mysterious deep-ocean plants.
I never leave the store empty-handed, and I doubt you will either.
